I am using windows 10 Nov upgrade, the maps app does not want to work, I deleted the maps app and then reinstalled the app with no success. When I try to open up the app it opens for seconds and then closes down right away with no error messages.
Uninstalled maps app a few times and reinstalled with same issue, even rebooted before reinstalling and made no difference so figured not worth all the bother and time trying to solve the issue. I just will not bother with the off line map feature.
