Check it to make sure that there aren't any of the dependencies already in there. If they are in there, you don't need to download the Dependencies separately! If they are not in there, you need to download the dependencies separately.
It is a software that installs mods for you! Click on the first link. Then scroll down till you see the downloads. Launch it after it is done downloading, andit should detect your KSP install automatically. Then, you can type mods into the search bar and click the checkmark next to a mod and click apply changes at the top. Then you will have your mods installed! No need to worry about conflicting mods and dependencies, CKAN will automatically install them, and it will not let you install it if there is a conflicting mod in your mods folder.
Please note that CKAN doesn't have every mod out there. For those few mods, you need to install them manually. Also note that the mac version might be different, and its a bit buggy. When you download a craft you can also choose to download it's "CKAN metapackage" that can be used to tell the CKAN mod manger to automatically installed the required mods.
Create custom groups of craft called "Hangars" containing your pick of your and other users' craft. Hangars can be private or public and can contain any craft you like. They can also be set to allow others to post their craft into them great if you run a youtube or twitch steam where viewers submit craft to you. Create ModPacks that contain custom selections of mods. Makes it easy to share you mod setup with others and you can also load a ModPack into a search.
Search for Mods and Parts KerbalX has a huge database of parts and which mod they belong to. You can search this database to find a part you might be missing, or just to see the sorts of craft people make with certain mods.
